Over twenty-five years ago, Dr. Kardasz began her career working with troubled teens in a high school setting. Since that time, she works with ten or more high school and college aged individuals each week. She works very hard to help this population have success personally and as a productive member of their family.
Dr. Kardasz has more than twenty-five years of experience working with adults that are struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and mood disorders. She also deals with hormone imbalance and sexual identity issues.
Marital and Family Therapist
Dr. Kardasz is a Licensed Individual Therapist as well as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. She has worked closely with couples for over twenty-five years offering pre-marital and marital counseling. She counsels couples who are facing life’s most difficult issues such as financial problems, sexual issues, problems with family members, infertility and infidelity. She strives to help these people find happiness with each other and meeting their goals together as a couple.
Eating Disorder Expert and Trauma
Prior to Doctorate Induction, Dr. Kardasz began working with all types of eating disorders, sexual abuse, physical abuse, and other traumas. These may include death of a loved one, military service, sexual abuse, physical abuse and other traumas. She also works closely with individuals who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.
